Finance & Admin Officer
My client a local government in North London is looking to recruit a Finance and Admin Officer 6 month contract. The role will pay GBP10 an hour. The post holder will have the responsibility for the day to day management of a comprehensive administrative and finance function of the organisation. They will also be responsible for ensuring that work is informed by anti- discriminatory perspective and is in accordance with the Council and divisions committed to full equality in service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Day Opportunities Manager. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring that an efficient and sensitive reception and advice service is available to, and in particular to be responsible for maintaining accurate up-to-date information. Co-ordinating the provision of services by other sections of social services such as transport and meals services. Initiating, developing and maintaining effective client record systems - both manual and computerised - ensuring that all of the statutory requirements for their maintenance, safe keeping and destruction is observed at all times. Responsible for the ordering of cleaning materials, medical supplies and stationery, liaising with retail outlet and assess the quality of goods and deciding when to order.
