Head of Regulatory Data Governance - Banking - Director
A Head of Regulatory Data Governance required by large scale Banking Group to assist on a number of key initiatives.
The position will be managing a team of 10-15 (mainly Data Analysts / Data Issues specialists / BA's) and will be responsible for the creation of a Data Governance process structure that will allow the business to ultimately improve it's Regulatory Reporting capabilities.
The client has developed a global, high level Data strategy (Group CDO office) and this opportunity is critical in aligning this portfolio of work to assure removal of legacy data domains, improvement of end to end Data Lineage (visualisation), Data Quality and MetaData Management practices.
Approved at Board level, this initiative is key for the client and subsequently has strong sponsorship from ExCo and stakeholders.
Initially preforming a Group wide assessment of the clients Data sources and data quality, this person will thereafter drive the adoption of a common, enterprise wide Data Governance process, addressing Data issues and proving data quality remediation.
Key skills must include Banking experience, BCBS239 knowledge, people management, client facing and influencing skills including excellent presentation abilities, front to back Data Flows SME knowledge, a proven history of having worked on large scale and complex Data Governance and Data Management Policy definition, adoption and continuous improvement.
