Green Infrastructure & Landscape Advisor
This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team working in the Colne Valley Regional Park, the first large area of countryside to the west of London. Green Infrastructure & Landscape Advisor Location: Denham, Nr. Uxbridge Salary: GBP33,363 - GBP40,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 Hours As a Green Infrastructure & Landscape Advisor you will: Act as an advocate/champion for the Colne Valley Regional Park and seek to maximise benefits for the Park and its users from development within, and adjacent to, the Park. This will include: Act as the main contact point between the Colne Valley Park CIC board and Heathrow Airport Limited. Attend and constructively input into the Heathrow Strategic Planning Group (HSPG). Taking a guiding role relating to Green Infrastructure. Provide constructive input into the development of an implementable landscape masterplan for the proposed Heathrow expansion project. Proactively influence mitigation plans for other proposals in the south of the Colne Valley Regional Park (eg the River Thames Scheme, Western Rail Link to Heathrow). Create links between the proposed landscape masterplan and other relevant initiatives such as the Colne Valley Landscape Partnership. Explore opportunities to compensate for any areas of the Colne Valley Regional Park which may be lost as a result of the Expansion Project. Prepare a brief for, recruit and manage any consultants required.
