LOCATION: Kew, Richmond, Surrey

JOB TITLE: Administrator

SALARY: COMPETITIVE, depending on experience

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

THE COMPANY: Our client is a Surrey based, dynamic charity who are working to improve the quality of life for children with life-limiting illnesses living in financially disadvantaged households throughout the UK. THE ROLE: Our client is looking for a passionate, outgoing, friendly and engaging Administrator to support their team, helping administer and move forward the business. Reporting to the Director, the post holder will be managing a wide range of crucial stakeholder relations and updating information accurately on databases.

Key Responsibilities of the Administrator role to include:

• Liaising with potential donors and volunteers

• Ensuring prompt recognition of donations when received

• Reporting back to donors and ensuring a friendly partnership continues

THE CANDIDATE: We are looking for an upbeat and friendly candidate with exceptional attention to detail. The successful individual will combine core skills of organisation and efficiency with warmth, understanding and strong emotional intelligence. A good level of administration capability is essential, as is the ability to self-manage and prioritise.

Essential criteria for the Administrator:

• Ability to work on own initiative

• Good customer service, including friendly telephone manner and comfortable dealing with customers face to face

• Highly organised and able to manage time efficiently, to prioritise and to work well under pressure

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and literacy skills

• Good computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook

• Flexible and pro-active approach

• Positive attitude.
