Java Developer - Java 8 Spring Hibernate GAIN Scala

This is a great opportunity for a to Java Developer with at least one commercial role experience to gain exposure in areas such as AWS and Scala and Big Data, all the while getting involved in the full development lifecycle. You will be joining an incredibly fast-growing ad tech start up that have just secured a larger Series A funding and are looking to now rapidly expand their current operations and continue to add new functionality. They have seen a huge increase in their customer base since 2015 and this number is only expanding every day. This is a role for a Java developer that truly loves tech, as much of a clich?? as that is, loving tech is something that they live by. Your role initially will be optimising their existing code base which will give you in depth knowledge of their application. As your knowledge of the product grow you will work incredibly closely to learn microservice based architecture and assist in the design and development of new applications and breaking their existing application down into more scalelabel microservices. This is all deployed to AWS, something that you will get to gain on the job in time. Don't be scared off by this as you will not need to have any previous experience with Scala or Big Data. For this role would need to have worked in at least one enterprise environment using Spring, Hibernate and have been exposed to RESTful webservices. Any exposure to AWS or Scala will be great but by no means essential, just a willingness to gain these. There is a lot to gain from this role. Firstly, Scala, Big Data and design and architecture will all be skills you will get to pick up on the job. You will get incredible support from the current team and will not at all feel out of your depth. In addition you will also have the access to uncapped annual leave, company shares and salary of up to GBP55,000 based on your current experience level.
